Qualifications
Career Tech Graduate, Bachelor’s degree, or appropriate certificate of training preferred.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Demonstrated experience in working with databases and performing data entry required.
Excellent organizational skills, proofreading skills, and verbal and written communication skills required.
Excellent professional etiquette and hospitality skills required.
Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility and accuracy is required.
A high level of confidentiality is required.

Essential Job Functions
- Greet people who visit the Program Administration area (students, prospective students, parents, etc.) in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Serve as the first level of support for the Health and Public Safety Learning Community Director of Instruction and instructors and provide back-up support to the other small learning community instructors and Directors of Instruction.
- Assist with records management, transcripts, prepare reports and correspondence, and keep files up to date for the Directors of Instruction and instructional staff.
- Update full-time program materials including websites, curriculum, tests, modules, clinical site contracts letters, clinical reports, clinical immunization requirements, etc.
- Remain current on updates to application processes, prerequisite courses, immunization requirements, etc. for full-time health programs.
- Prepare for Radiologic Technology, Practical Nursing and Medical Coding and Billing new student orientations.
- Facilitate Radiologic Technology, Practical Nursing, and Medical Coding and Billing individual student book orders.
- Assist with Radiologic Technology, Practical Nursing, and Medical Coding and Billing student handbook updates annually.
- Assist Radiologic Technology program coordinator and Practical Nursing program coordinator with state and national accreditation reports, exhibits and site visit preparation.
- Prepare and mail terminal dosimeter report and student transcripts for Radiologic Technology graduates.
- Prepare and maintain clinical, preceptor, and training agreements/contracts for clinical sites.
- Maintain an up-to-date list of immunization requirements for health-related program clinical rotations.
- Answer telephones for the Program Administration division and instructors. Answer questions and provide excellent customer service in assisting students, staff, parents, guests and visitors.
- Provide switchboard coverage, answering and transferring calls for the campus-wide phone system as requested.
- Serve as a substitute instructor as requested.
- Assist full-time programs with recruitment events, receptions, graduation ceremonies, business education council meetings and other various committees and events.
- Complete professional development to update relevant knowledge and skills in addition to annual state mandated professional development.
- Attend staff meetings and serve on committees as requested by the Superintendent or Directors of Instruction.
- Utilize work time efficiently and report any exceptions to work hours to the Director of Instruction.
- Abide by all policies and procedures adopted by the MTC Board of Education.

Work Hours:
Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM w/30-minute lunch break
Physical Demands:
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. Must be able to lift and/or push items occasionally on dolly or a cart weighing as much as 30 pounds.
Standards of Performance
The Administrative Professional, Program Administration will be evaluated on the previously listed responsibilities in accordance with the Meridian Technology Center Performance Review Guidelines. These evaluations will determine salary increases and career advancement possibilities.
